DJM FAQs

Request An Estimate/Order:

To request an estimate, email us with as much information (see below) as possible and you'll receive a response within 24 hours of your inquiry.  If you have artwork please enclose.

  • Your name​

  • Company or organizations name (if applicable)

  • Address (add shipping if different), and phone.

  • Item/s (like): T-shirts, Polos, Banners, Posters, Graphic Design...

  • Brand/Style (like):  Gildan, OGIO, Nike  /  100% Cotton, Performance (if applicable)

    • If you have a specific style# enclose as well ex. OG320​

  • Embellishment (like):  Printed and/or Embroidered

  • Locations:  Front, Back, Left Chest, Right Chest, Other (where applicable)

  • Color Preferences:  Item and embellishment

  • Estimated Size/s:  Apparel = youth small thru adult 5xl.  Posters/Banners = feet and/or inches.

  • Due Date

 

Production Times / Hours:

Production time begins once order, design/art are approved and deposit/payment are received.  A business week (days) are Monday – Friday.  Orders placed after 1pm are moved to the following day.  Times may change based on project size and needs and supplier stock.  Shipping times not included.

  • Apparel / Accessory printing​ – typically 7 to 10 business days.

  • Apparel / Accessory embroidery/ patches​ – typically 12 to 21 business days.  (Initial order 21 business days.)

  • Other Print Services (Banners/signs/posters etc...) – 7 to 10 business days.

  • Graphic Design – Based on project needs/requirements.

  • Specialty items – Based on project needs/requirements.

  • Thanksgiving/Christmas/New Years – typically have extended timelines.  In most instances it is best to place your order at least 4 weeks prior to desired due date.  1st time embroider/patch orders 6 weeks.

Hours:  Monday - Friday:  7:00am to 4:00pm.  Holidays Closed:  New Year's Eve/Day.  Good Friday, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Weekend, Christmas (Dec. 24 - 26).  Holiday schedules may be effected by manufacturer/supplier/carrier schedules.

Shipping / Delivery:

Local delivery within 25 miles is free.  Standard shipping rates and times apply.  Express may be available if requested.

Artwork Requirements:

Acceptable digital formats include:  ai, indd, eps, svg, or high-resolution: pdf, jpeg, png files.  For embroidery: DST.  Fonts:  Outline or rasterize.  High-resolution = 300dpi or higher, and should be 3"x3" (900x900 pixels) or larger.  Color:  Black (rich) = 60c, 60m, 60y, 100k.  Blues/Purples = Best to have 30% difference. ex. 100c & 70m.  (Note: each individuals screen/color calibration varies.  CMYK, RGB, & HEX will have minor variations for certain specific colors.  Neon/brights tend to be the most difficult to achieve in process printing.)

Payments/Charges:

Accepted forms of payment are PayPal invoice credit/debt card, check, or cash.  Sales Tax required unless a resale or tax exempt numberer certificate are provided.    Estimates will include all charges and fees associated with the parameters of the estimate.  No other charges will apply.  Any returned/bounced payments from PayPal/bank will result in any return fees set by PayPal & DJM's bank.  This will be applied to the current invoice/returned order or a future order.

Returns:

If you have an issue with your order, please contact us immediately so we can resolve the issue.  Please include pictures of the damage.  Return timelines:  must be made within 14 days from the time of delivery.  Sample items must be within 21 days from time of delivery.  Unembellished-restocked items will have a 20% charge applied to any invoice or reimbursement charge.  Each item in your order is inspected by at least 2 or more individuals throughout production.  If inspection has missed an error, acceptable returns include:  damaged items - holes, tears, and improperly embellished item/s.  Non-returnable items include:  embellished items - sizing issues and any issues as a result of errors from provided artwork; timeline delays due to client response in the proofing/approval process, and shipping carrier delays; or damage caused by the customer.  (Ways to eliminate returned item issues, be sure to verify:  *sizing, *colors, final proof/order.  *Specs/charts are available and typically are included in the estimate.  DJM Designs Inc., is not responsible for manufacturer: sizing variations, color variations, or changes to a specific style/item which are subject to manufacturer changes.
